Pothole Patrol!
Is it our imagination or is the pavement in Park City dissolving? A quick survey of Record staffers suggests this is a hot topic at the watercooler. Cast your vote for the worst pothole in Park City/Summit County. So far, for local entertainment, the crater at Starbucks and Park Avenue is in the lead. In the Varsity Interstate Division, of course, there is the disappearing lane on I80. Post your nemesis. Maybe we'll get lucky and someone with a load of asphalt and a shovel will get busy!

There are a few craters on the road between Smith's and the old Kmart -- geez!
There's a minefield at the bottom of Sweed Alley.
Canyons Resort Drive--Especially that portion coming down from Sundial.. on the right.. good grief. I hit it every time. Dodging the bumps up and down from The Canyons is like playing a game of Super Mario Brothers--but without the ability to pick the whole thing up and throw it over the mountain.
My vote foe a SINGLE worst pothole goes for the abyss at the eastern-most entrance to the parking lot (which in itself is one of the poorest designed lots I've ever seen) of the shopping center at Kimball Junction...right at Subway. It's almost too wide for a car to straddle and is about a foot deep now. A real alignment wrecker!

Oh, pot HOLE.
Nevermind.
Check your spare tire before driving out of Jeremy Ranch at the stop sign next to the Jeremy Store.
Lower Norfolk Ave between 8th and 10th streets is like a war zone due to construction trucks. Just a preview of life during the treasure mountain era....
