Our trip this year, over the holidays, were nothing less than spectacular! The people in Park City, no matter where they are from are very pleasent people. We stayed at Marriott on Main Street and ran into a real estate man (don't remember his name, he is from Tennessee)who sent us to see a sharetime deal at the Canyons. We bought in and moved that day from downtown to the Westgate... Let me tell you that is one mad luxurious address. It has been a couple of weeks and my wife and two boys still thank me for such an awsome holiday. We are a well traveled family. Park City and the people in it, for the past three visits has won our hearts for now!

I had a great trip to Park City this holiday, but my main complaint is that Jay Hamburger hasn't cut his hair yet. I was here over the Fourth of July and warned him that I might not return if he didn't shave that mop; now, lo and behold, it's still there. Jay, your reporting is magisterial (per the Park Record norm), but your hair should be slightly shorter.
Love,
Kevin M. Schultz

This was our family's first christmas in our new Park City vacation home that we purchased last year. The grand kids fell in love with skiing and their parents were thrilled. I have to say down town is getting busier but the restaurants this year are better then ever. The only hitch is the parking shortage down town. That is something that must be fixd in order to support the businesses down town. We love it here! The snow is great and Park City is so easy for our family members, who are spread out all over the country, to get to.

We just came back from a week of skiing in Park City. We are Marriott time share owners and purchased a second week at the Marriott Mountainside last year. Skiing in Park City is awesome. One has a choice of skiing either Deervally, the Canyons or Park City. All in close proximity. We love the ski in/out of the Mountainside. Most everyone is really nice and polite (what a nice change from most places). Did run into a miserable young bus driver on the Kimball junction route. Really bad disposition. However, he was the only one like that.
I would like to find a newspaper article to substantiate the murder attempt on the life of Dr. Mark Hopkins (orthopedic surgeon. Apparantly his partner was murdered by an assasin who tried to frame and kill Dr. Hopkins. Can you direct me to that article. I just finished reading his book which is fiction but based on truth! I purchsed the book at Dolly's. Wonderful bookstore!

In summary I/we love Park City. I call it my second home and can never wait to return for our one or two yearly visits.

Last Saturday, with all the snow and accidents I opted for the bus. It was great! warm, friendly and maybe 3 or 4 minutes longer than driving. I ended up going to the Ecceles Center and watching a wonderfully fun performance by The Great Big Sea. Tons of very nice and friendly people both before the show and during intermission. When it was over I strolled back to the snow covered road to wait for the bus. About ten minutes later another couple joined me. We waited and enjoyed each others company for another ten minutes and then another five and so on. As the last few cars were departing and our conversation was turning to teeth chattering a female employee of PCMR and her spouse took pity on us and offered us a ride. Thanks to our drivers. Any chance the theater could give transportation a heads up when the shows are over?

I found the Park City area just a marvelous place. We skied three days at The Canyons and two days at Deer Valley. We stayed at the Grand Summit at The Canyons. Transportation is superb, people are helpful and friendly. Every evening we took the public transportation into Park City and walked Main Street and even took the free trolley ride just for fun one day. Great choice of restaurants. Park City has a warm place in our hearts. We are from Hershey, PA. Thank you!!

Just leaving pc today. Got stuck on the payday lift for 2 hours yesterday. Not planning on coming back, too scary. The person on the chair with me said that last year Silverlode lift broke down and this is the second time this year they've had to rescue people from the chairlift. It seems that PCMR isn't maintaining their equipment, I don't feel safe here anymore.

We love Park City!! We are from Texas and are considering moving to Park City for a year to experience the mountain living. It will be a huge undertaking but what an experience for our family if we could pull it off. Does anyone have any words of encouragement or not?

To The Editor:

Recently spent almost three weeks putting an msn groups site together. Many, many, many alterations before I finally said "thats it"!!

Just wanted to compliment you on your site - clean simple structure, excellent colors.

Have been visiting PC/Deer Valley for the past seven years. After the first two years we decided that the best time was three weeks before July 4 and a month after Sept 4. Fewer people, best landscapes, and lower condo prices.
