Presidential pit stop

Park City is getting a lot of attention from the 2008 Presidential candidates -- both Republican and Democratic. Most recently,Governor Mitt Romney and Senator Barack Obama spoke to supporters in town and former N.Y.C. Mayor Rudy Giuliani is scheduled to stop by too. What do you think of the candidate appearances so far? Is there another candidate that you want to see and what would you ask them?

Haven't taken the time to actually go meet the candidates.

Saw Romney once though, he is a little guy, much smaller than I expected. He appeared a little too blow dried.

Would like to have met Obama, wouldn't mind meeting Rudy.

I guess you had to pay quite a bit to meet Obama. I don't have that kind of money.

It's all BS. Obama said he would invade Pakistan without UN approval and yet he criticzes Bush's unilateralism. He says he is a bridge builder, but yet he made two very partisan votes against Supreme Court Justices Roberts and Alito. Don't believe the fluff.

I would like to meet Obama and ask him why he believes socialism would work here when it has done so poorly everywhere else.

Romney is a flip-floppin' Bush Lite. Giuliani is making big bucks speaking about 9/11 - he's a farce. McCain is done. Huckabee et. al. are better choices than Rudy McRomney.

The Dems are much too far to the left with Richardson, if you must vote Dem, the only half-way reasonable choice.

IMHO, Ron Paul is the only consistent, honest, straight-forward, Constitutional candidate. He has my vote.

Check out redpills.org and search on any of the above.

Many of us, including conservatives, are not happy with Bush. Despite this, there clearly remains no good alternative with the Democratic frontrunners. Moderate democrats like Joe Lieberman and Bill Richardson are being left in the dust by the "looney left" Proven leaders like Guliani and Romney are ridiculed or held in contempt by the left because of their personal accomplishments. Yet loons like Kerry are held in high esteem. Kerry increased his net worth by a half a billion dollars by saying two words, "I do." When it comes time to cast votes next year, I hope voters will look toward those canditates that they believe have the best leadership qualities and those that will continue to protect us from the moral relatisvism that exists in secular Europe and Park City, and from Muslim extremists that want to eliminate our way of life.

1. Obama is not proposing any type of socialism. Do you research the candidates at all: www.barackobama.com

2. Clinton and Bush have taken out targets in other countries without specific UN Approval. In fact, if you read UN rules we are completely within their laws defending ourselves against an enemy that has attacked first, i.e Al Qaeda. You do not need UN approval for that. Again, learn a little bit about what you attempt to discuss.
